Is it time for the holidays?

Yep...it's that time again. Everyone roll out your boxed christmas tree with all the ornaments. Lets get those lights up outside and little fake deer with lights on them that move. Or better yet how about one of those large balloon looking things that has a air compressor and blows white snowlike flakes up constantly. It makes it so special when you have a nativity scene up. That is what Christmas is all about truly.

I have seen some really pretty lights already up. I can't wait to view more as the time passes before the holiday is here. Still waiting to see pmelts pics....hehe

The only thing I do not like about the holidays is the overcrowding at the stores and too much food....!!! hello people...we do not need so much food. All the parties, the eating and eating, and sweets galore. OMG! I gain weight just thinking about it. Thanksgiving is just over and we had 3 gatherings. Do you know how much food that equals too? I am still trying to recover from all that. I will take another week to completely starve myself...LOL

Don't get me wrong I LOVE LOVE LOVE the holidays!! This is my favorite time of the year. It just that we have really gone overboard on the commercialism and we definitely need to cut back on the giblet gravy if you know what i mean... : ) Can I get an AMEN?

changes so fast, not like the seasons or is it?

You know we have changes daily especially in the IT world. Lately, with the growth it has been so constant and very challenging. It would appear that as we get older life seems to go rapidly by....just passing us in the night as we sleep in our jammmies. Sometimes I wonder, do we ever see the light in the distance? Do we stop from our busy schedules and ask ourselves what is the BIG plan or just keep going with the ebb and flow of our life? I constantly pray about this, because to see the BIG picture and ask for guidance in this area is not an easy task.

I hope that with the upcoming holidays that all my friends and family members have a special gathering with loved ones and that we can reflect on the new year to come.

can u say anticipation?

I have looked forward to this day/evening for a long time. Now that it's here I am beside myself with things to do. I am shaky, unable to concentrate for very long. Perhaps its just nerves....I mean after all meeting someone in person for the first time is pretty spectacular. Even loving them from afar has been amazing, like this rollercoaster ride that you want to take again and again. I will never regret any moments from here on end. The reason I state this is because he showed me how to love another the right way. How to trust, how to have faith in another person to give as OUR Father would. That is why our love is divine. If I could have one wish, it would have been that I met him so long ago and that we had some children together. To top things off today is his birthday....oh how special is that... grins

you know for this to be a town, not a city...it gets hopping...especially around 7am in the morning when I drive through here. I cannot fathom only being with this company for like 6 months and I have moved up so fast. WOW...i feel so blessed. Perhaps this is a sign from above...Thank u God!
