It's back to that time of the year again...when the cold air rushes into your lungs as you breath and makes you feel so alive. The holidays are upon us and I cannot help but feel giddy like a child. What makes us feel this way? Is it because we know that Christmas is just around the corner and we are about to receive some gifts? Or could it be that we feel the Christmas Spirit in our hearts? The sign of peace and good will to all...
Some may say yes it is...others will probably say Bah Humbug! We have a tendency to get so caught up in all the things that need to be done, like decorating, putting up the tree, going shopping for all your relatives and friends, sending out cards, going to the special parties, and last but not least the Feast. This can be overwhelming for a lot of people.
After all this is the season to give or do something nice for someone. Here are some enlightening ideas given from ehow.com : http://www.ehow.com/how_3565_christmas-spirit.html
This as well as hugging someone can always help the situation.
Peace and Love to everyone!! I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year
Love,
Kim

Turn over the leaf
The economy is sliding deeper and deeper into a recession and what is the government doing about it? Not enough in my opinion. I mean it is just sad that we make less money then we did in 2000 and now we cannot pay our bills, buy food, have a decent place to live. While certain companies get away with murder. I found something on CCN.com that just made me laugh, OPRAH of all people is telling americans to Unplug from technology and get back to the basics...well OPRAH, that's all good but what are you doing? Your one of the richest people on the planet earth. If I didn't have my technology I would not survive. I mean its true we at times text each other rather than talk in person, we even watch TV programs on the internet. For those of us who cannot afford cable television, this comes in pretty darn handy. Anyways....I am just totally DISGUSTED with all this. I bet even the suicide rate has gone up since the recession started. Stay tuned folks, I'm not finished with this rant!

Buzzkill
Well after a very long and trying weekend....I have finally come to the conclusion that most men just do not know what they want, or perhaps they do. I often wonder....when a man tells you they just aren't that into you...what does that really mean...? (scratches head) Is it because you were to forward and your more confident than them? Could it be their lack of energy to rise to the occasion? Or is it just plain and simple, they are only after one thing and one thing only...what a dweeb!! Then afterwards they are okay with just being your friend. hmmmm What is wrong with the men of this generation? Where have all our values gone? I mean if you can't trust a cowboy, who can you trust huh? lol

Solong 2008!
This past year has gone by so fast. I blinked...and whoosh everything happened at once. I still cannot believe I'm here in this small town, driving an hour to work. Don't get me wrong I love the job I have, but there has to be better possibilites out there. This is getting me nowhere. The pay is terrible. Not to mention the wear and tear on my new car.
I feel as if I am a nomad sometimes. I just keep moving on to the next destination.
So what...is this in my blood? Should I just accept this or will I ever be able to settle down in one place, one home...have a real family life for my son. This can be disturbing for some children. I thought I was settled, had a beautiful home, had a husband, an awesome church life, everything I wanted except a great job. Then all of a sudden -another blink and it was gone.
I think we go through our lives constantly looking for that one thing - love. If there is one person out there who disagrees with me...your lying through your teeth. Its so nice to be accepted by that one person just as you are. Unconditional love....just as we all should live.
Happy New Year everyone!
